Delay in development of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Harvest Caye means a change in ports of call for some cruisers

Norwegian Cruise Line is developing a new private island experience off the coast of southern Belize, Harvest Caye. Initially expected to open in February 2016, now Norwegian is planing the grand opening to occur in November 2016. Until then, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Western Caribbean itineraries with stops scheduled at Harvest Caye will visit Belize City instead.  Norwegian will be contacting booked guests with the revised itinerary details.

Once complete Harvest Caye will feature an exclusive beach, a lagoon for watersports, private luxury cabanas and more. Regent Seven Seas and Oceania will also use the private island starting in 2017.
