Seattle, WA, June 11, 2019 —UnCruise Adventures adds additional Latin American destinations in 2020 with Belize, Guatemala and Colombia chosen for new adventure cruise routes. The line’s 2020 schedule of small ship cruises is open for booking with nine ships sailing in Alaska, Columbia and Snake Rivers, Coastal Washington, Mexico, Hawaii, Galápagos, Costa Rica, Panamá, Colombia, Belize and Guatemala.
Also new for 2020, travelers looking for an Alaska adventure can take advantage of an early bird savings offer and save up to $1,200 per couple when booked by December 13, 2019. In Hawaii, a transition to year-round operations in the islands adds additional summer departures.
“Coral reefs, tropical islands, historical sites and jungles to explore – that’s what’s drawing us to Belize, Guatemala and Colombia,” said UnCruise Adventures CEO Dan Blanchard. “Developing new destinations is important for our returning guests who fall in love with the UnCruise spirit of friendship and adventure.”
Small ships carrying 22 to 90 guests take travelers deeper into each destination: kayaking, paddle boarding, skiff excursions, hiking, bushwhacking, biking, snorkeling, rafting, and mixing with locals. Nature and wildlife centered trips include multiple daily adventure activities.
Colombia & Panamá
The 66-guest Safari Voyager sails three departures on a new weeklong Colombia & Panamá – Coral, Jungles, Canal itinerary between Cartagena, Colombia and Panama City, Panama (or reverse) in October. Transit the Panamá Canal, meet native Guna and Embera peoples and visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites – the Darién Jungle and the colonial walled city of Cartagena. Explore the Pearl Islands, Isla Taboga, Capurgana, Sapzurro and the Archipelago of San Bernardo. Rates begin at $4,895 per person, double occupancy.
Belize & Guatemala
Six departures on a new weeklong adventure cruise exploring the beaches and jungles of Belize and Guatemala sail October – December aboard the 66-guest Safari Voyager. Snorkel Belize’s barrier reef, search for marine life, venture up the Monkey River and explore Mayan historical sites. Details coming in late 2019. Rates begin at $4,445 per person, double occupancy.
Costa Rica & Panamá
The 66-guest Safari Voyager sails eleven departures on a 10-night Costa Rica & Panamá – Canal, Culture, Adventure itinerary between San José, Costa Rica and Panamá City (or reverse). Costa Rica highlights include Golfo Dulce, Osa Conservation Area and Curú National Wildlife Refuge. In Panama, it visits an Embera Village in the Darien Jungle, Coiba National Park and a late afternoon/evening transit of the Panamá Canal. Four departures on a 7-night Unveiled Wonders itinerary sail between San José, Costa Rica and Panamá City (or reverse) with a full canal transit, jungle and beach exploration, wildlife and snorkeling adventures. From April through September, six ships sail 117 departures on adventure cruises lasting one to two weeks from homeports of Seattle, Washington; Ketchikan, Juneau, and Sitka, Alaska. Guests may choose from seven itineraries in Southeast Alaska. Five itineraries visit Glacier Bay National Park and all itineraries include multiple daily adventures. UnCruise begins spring 2020 sailings in April, offering early access to Alaska’s awakening landscapes. The 88-guest Safari Endeavour explores the marine life rich waters of Baja, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on 16 Baja’s Bounty voyages from January through April and December. Columbia and Snake Rivers
The 90-guest S.S. Legacy sails six weeklong Rivers of Adventure cruises between Portland, Oregon and Clarkston, Washington (or reverse) from late August through October.
