Norwegian Cruise line to employ certified lifeguards on select ships this summer

Norwegian Cruise Line today announced that the line will begin employing certified lifeguards at all of the family pools across their fleet. The first responders will be trained and certified by the American Red Cross in lifesaving rescue measures and will monitor the family pools during scheduled pool hours. Yesterday I posted about the Royal Princess’s new hull design. Today I want to share the artwork designed for Norwegian Cruise Line’s upcoming new ship, the Norwegian Bliss. The artwork is created by marine life artist Wyland and is called “Cruising with the Whales”. The image shows a humpback whale and her calf with other ocean life.
