Well-being Pioneer Dr. Deepak Chopra Announces 6 “Explore & Restore” Voyages
At what amounted to both a Press Conference and a Meditation Session held in New York last week, Swan Hellenic, the revitalized cruise line, announced a unique partnership created for its first foray into the U.S. cruise market. In partnership with Chopra, now an integrated health company founded by Dr. Chopra, “Explore & Restore” will make its appearance on 5-to-9-day voyages aboard Swan Hellenic’s small luxury ships, SH Diana and SH Vega. Starting in March 2024, the line will offer its guests an array of destinations from Panama City to Palermo, from St. Maarten to South Africa to choose from. And Swan Hellenic also announced that aboard all Swan Hellenic cruises, whether “Explore & Restore” or not, there will now be a Chopra-trained meditation and yoga teacher offering daily private and group sessions.
What is “Explore & Restore”?
The health benefits of an ocean voyage are indisputable and well known. Inspired by them, “Explore & Restore” seeks to make personal well-being is integrated into every voyage. Not confined to spa treatments and yoga classes, “Explore & Restore” features experiences that encompass mental, physical and spiritual health. Every day aboard ship, “Explore & Restore” guests will feature daily meditation, yoga and breathwork classes. These are combined with Guided Workshops designed for a deeper understanding of your authentic self. The ship’s Restaurants will feature Ayurvedic culinary specialties of fresh seasonal foods. All voyages are intentionally curated to foster both self-discovery and cultural immersion. In a nutshell, “Explore & Restore” pairs inward journeys with outward exploration with impacts that last long after the voyage has concluded.
