Silversea  is known for having luxurious amenities on their ships, and the technology available to passengers is no exception.   Each suite features:

  • Flat-screen TVs, movies and music, and satellite news programming
  • WiFi Internet access (fee applies)
  • iPod docking station

This week,  Silversea announced that they have increased their onboard media options, including newspapers and lifestyle magazines to their complimentary onboard digital service.  Passengers can use their smartphone or tablet to access hundreds of newspapers and lifestyle magazines from 100 countries and in 56 languages- these items are in addition to an already impressive service that provides streaming movies and live television news broadcasts to guests’ mobile devices aboard Silver Cloud and the Silver Galapagos.

By the end of November, the digital service will also be available on Silver Shadow, followed by Silver Wind and Silver Whisper later in the year.
