Princess Cruises Announces New Luxury Stateroom Options for December 2016

Santuary Royal PrincessPrincess Cruises has just announced a new luxury stateroom option that I am excited to share with you. I love Princess Cruises – I worked for them for several years and the experience on Princess Cruises is fantastic for the price.

These very pretty ships have some of the finest amenities, imaginary food, top-notch children’s programs, amazing entertainment, truly caring staff, and overall a beautiful experience.  The spa is truly magnificent and the areas for relaxing like the Sanctuary are competitive with the ultra-luxury lines.

The Club Class Mini Suites will be introduced on select ships in December and will feature a balcony and a separate seating area, a bathroom with a bath tub, and a welcome glass of champagne.  I like to take baths and this is a wonderful feature to offer.  Plus, guests staying in one of the Club Class Mini Suites will be able to take advantage of perks that I know they will enjoy, including the new Club Class Dining option.

Here are the perks according to Princess Cruises:

Club Class Dining

  • Dedicated area of the Main Dining Room with expedited seating
  • Dedicated wait staff and uniquely-styled table décor
  • Exclusive menu options with daily chef’s special and table-side preparations
  • Available every evening for dinner and for breakfast and lunch on sea days

Club Class Mini-Suite Upgraded Amenities & Services

  • The Princess Luxury Bed – Club Class guests will be among the first to experience the “Ultimate Sleep at Sea,” in the new bed designed in collaboration with board certified sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus and renowned HGTV Designer Candice Olson
  • Priority check-in and boarding at the beginning of the cruise and priority disembarkation at the end of the cruise

Princess Cruises Small Ship Experience, The Pacific Princess

One of my very favorite ships, he Pacific Princess features space onboard for just 680 guests, she doesn’t skimp on amenities.  This intimate ship offers two incredible specialty restaurants onboard, Sterling SteakhouseSM and Sabatini’sSM, both with great tasting food to enhance your night out.  In the main dining rooms, Traditional Dining offers an authentic cruising experience where the same friendly waitstaff serve you each night as you get to know your fellow tablemates.  She sails Europe, the Baltic and Ireland & Scotland.

About the Sanctuary

Solitude seekers will be able to escape completely to this plush, outdoor spa-inspired setting with signature beverages, light meals, massages, attentive service and relaxing personal entertainment.

“Serenity Stewards” Attend to Every Need

The presence of Serenity Stewards in The Sanctuary underscores the atmosphere of tranquility and service, offering a respite for relaxation. These stewards are on hand to provide guests with everything from a chilled face towel and Evian water atomizers, to a menu of healthy beverages and fare. Serenity Stewards will also have personal MP3 players with noise canceling headphones available, loaded with themed playlists focused on relaxation for those who want to escape with music.

Al Fresco Massages*

The Sanctuary will also feature outdoor private cabanas where guests can also take advantage of the exclusive Lotus Spa Services at The Sanctuary, including sybaritic favorites such as a Deep Tissue Muscle Massage, a relaxing Swedish Massage or a Full Body Lotus Massage especially for couples. Shorter interludes of massage pampering will also be available as massage therapists will offer back, shoulder, and neck massages using special massage chairs.

When not indulging in spa services, Sanctuary guests lounge amidst lush greenery, with the presence of gentle breezes, ocean waves, and softly piped-in spa music combining to further insulate the area with relaxation sounds. Guests will relax on plush outdoor furniture including double loungers for couples, as well as deluxe chaise lounges and chairs.

And for those looking for a relaxing end to their day, sunset yoga sessions offer the opportunity to unwind and tone their muscles accompanied by nature’s beauty.
