Holland America Line Partners with ‘Wheel of Fortune’ for Unprecedented Cruise Week

Two icons have joined forces for a first-of-its-kind “Cruise Week” from Jan. 13-17. Holland America Line is highlighting a weeklong sponsorship of “Wheel of Fortune.”

The longest-running syndicated game show, “Wheel of Fortune” will feature a different destination each day as a salute to the regions that Holland America Line explores.

Holland America Line also will be giving away to game show contestants several seven-day cruises for two, including roundtrip airfare.

“As a company that has been sailing for more than 150 years, we continue to innovate ways that meaningfully reach our guests,” Kacy Cole, chief marketing officer at Holland America Line, said in a press release.

“By creating our own Cruise Week and partnering with a celebrated show like ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ our sponsorship allows us to connect with a captivated audience who are both avid Holland America Line cruisers and new to our brand,” Cole said.

Viewers who tune into “Wheel of Fortune” will see the set transformed into a nautical theme that looks like a port with waving Holland America Line flags above the screen, as well as a backdrop that looks like a ship pier behind the contestants.

Holland America Line’s branded logo also will be featured all throughout the set. “We look forward to showcasing our global destinations on one of the most iconic wheels in the world,” Cole said.

While the beloved television show has featured cruise giveaways, this is the first time a single cruise line will be featured throughout the entire week.
