European Waterways is offering 10% off per cabin for the August 2nd departure on its luxury hotel barge ‘Panache’ in one of its most popular cruise regions, Alsace-Lorraine in France. This is a saving of over US$1,000, based on double occupancy and is bookable by April 7th.
“Alsace-Lorraine is one of the most interesting areas of France, and Alsace has a unique blend of French and German cultures,” said Derek Banks, managing director of European Waterways. “We want to encourage travelers to enjoy this marvelous region, especially during the summer when the scenery is at its most spectacular and colorful.”
The spacious hotel barge Panache comfortably carries up to 12 guests in style, featuring a lavish dining room and saloon offering panoramic views, and a large sun deck with hot tub. Among the highlights on the 6-night, all-inclusive cruise is the amazing ‘boat elevator’ at Arzviller, which carries the barge 450 feet up a mountainside. There will also be a romantic candlelit breakfast as Panache passes through two tunnels, a visit to the spectacular René Lalique Collection, and wine tastings at vineyards on the renowned Route des Vins d’Alsace.
