Cunard’s Newest Ship~ Queen Anne’s Maiden Season: Invitation To Pre-Book ~ For Our Treasured Guests

Iconic Mediterranean cities, tropical Caribbean islands, and Norway’s picturesque fjords are all set to welcome Queen Anne in early 2024. Cunard has planned an unforgettable season of inspiring maiden voyages.

A new address at sea.

Let Cunard’s 249th ship, Queen Anne, become your home from home in 2024 as you explore some of the world’s most enticing locations during her inaugural season. Whether you seek plentiful sea days to enjoy the ship or a voyage on which you’ll discover a new destination almost every day, Queen Anne’s maiden voyages will not disappoint.

Be part of the celebrations as she’s greeted in ports for the very first time and watch as the ship’s Captain and local Harbor Master take part in the traditional plaque exchange. With over 30 unique ports included in her maiden season, sailing on Queen Anne’s maiden voyages offers chance to travel the world’s oceans in style, whilst turning heads in every new destination.

Lisbon, Portugal.

First for Queen Anne is a 7-night voyage to Lisbon, where an overnight in port creates opportunity to soak-up the nightlife in the Barrio Alto. Along Lisbon’s riverfront you’ll find the UNESCO-listed Tower of Belém, built in the early 1500s. Another must-see is the town of Sintra, less than an hour away by bus or train.

Other iconic Lisbon experiences include Alfama (the oldest part of the city) and a ride on a vintage tram – route 28 is highly recommended. Of course, no Lisbon call would be complete without a traditional custard tart. While you’ll find these all over the city, Pastéis de Belém’s are rumoured to be the best. Iberia and the Canary Islands.

Stunning scenery and a glorious climate are just two temptations of Queen Anne’s Canary Islands’ voyages in January and March 2024. Famed for warm weather and lunar-like landscapes, the Canaries have been christened Europe’s ‘sunshine center’ and five islands are a biocenter reserve.

If it’s volcanic scenery you’re seeking, Lanzarote’s park at Timanfaya will not disappoint, while sunbathers will adore Fuerteventura’s white sands. The 16th century, San Cristóbal de La Laguna is highly recommended in Tenerife, while Gran Canaria’s capital, Las Palmas, offers sheltered waters, perfect for swimming.

The Caribbean.

In late January Queen Anne will set off on a 35-night roundtrip voyage to the Caribbean, inviting guests to bask in the warm shallows of island seas. An archipelago overflowing with natural beauty and legendary sandy beaches, each of these beautiful islands boasts its own unique character.

In Barbados, British colonial architecture offers a glimpse back in time. St Lucia’s iconic Pitons provide an impressive backdrop to zip-lining and dolphin watching. If you’re in the mood to shop, Philipsburg’s boutiques are sure to turn up a keepsake, and on St Thomas the sapphire sea at Magens Bay will prove impossible to resist.

Norwegian fjords.

Known for its fjords, Norway is home to a remarkable coastline, peppered with tumbling waterfalls and vibrant forests. Queen Anne will sail a 13-night maiden voyage here in March 2024, calling at five unique ports. She’ll then return in April, when she’ll make maiden calls in Haugesund, Olden, and Stavanger.

Delight in the colorful wharf buildings that line the river Nidelven in Trondheim or brave the ‘Troll Wall’ of Andalsnes, drinking in the incredible views of the surrounding valleys. Stroll pretty streets lined with art nouveau buildings in Alesund and retrace the footsteps of Vikings as you sail mighty fjords that have remained unchanged for centuries.

The Mediterranean.

Home to some of the oldest cities in the world, the rich history of the Mediterranean is beyond compare. Yours to discover on Queen Anne in 2024, she’ll offer just one Mediterranean voyage in her maiden season, combining calls to Italy, Spain, and Portugal, with the captivating islands of Corsica and Mallorca.

The atmospheric Las Ramblas and Gaudi’s architecture are just the pinnacle of Barcelona’s appeal. Cadiz, a compact gem brimming with history, is also the gateway to Seville’s equestrian displays and vast cathedral. Discover Portugal’s atmospheric capital Lisbon, fall for the gothic charms of Palma de Mallorca, and bask in extraordinary epoch-spanning architecture in Rome.

Atlantic voyages.

If you really want to immerse yourself in our newest Queen, look no further than Queen Anne’s Atlantic voyages. Sailing between Southampton and Fort Lauderdale, these one-way voyages are the perfect opportunity to experience everything Queen Anne has to offer. From utter relaxation in her pools and spa, to a world of flavors in her restaurants, each day is yours to spend as you please.

Choose from a 12-night westbound voyage calling in the Azores and Florida, or a 10-night sailing with a stop in Bermuda. Just like on board, your time ashore offers the freedom to explore at your leisure. Discover Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, fall for pastel-hued houses in Hamilton, and admire gothic architecture in Ponta Delgada.

Adventure awaits with Queen Anne in 2024.

A ship inspired by our past but designed for our future. Experience the next in a fine line in 2024, as Queen Anne makes her historic first calls in ports all over the world.
