Atmosphere and experience onboard:

MSC Cruises ships are modern and sophisticated and feature a strongly Italian-influenced ambiance.  The ships mainly cruse the Mediterranean and are primarily geared toward European travelers, but feature a wide range of travelers from all over the world.

While MSC Divina is Mediterranean-influenced like all the other ships in the fleet, updates were made to appeal to the North American market when she moved to Miami in November 2013.  To stick with the line’s Mediterranean heritage, many Italian companies partnered with MSC Divina for her move to Miami, including Segafredo Zanetti, Nutella, Eataly, Venchi Gelateria and Disaronno. At the same time, changes for the North American market included limiting smoking areas, staff training to become accustomed to North American passengers, English announcements, American favorites on the menu and more.

Destinations served:

  • Mediterranean
  • Northern Europe
  • Caribbean & Antilles
  • Dubai, Abu Dhabi (UAE) & Qatar
  • South America
  • South Africa
  • Asia
  • Bermuda, Canada & New England
  • Egypt, Red Sea & Saudi Arabia
  • Private Island Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve
  • Grand Voyages
  • World Cruise

Clientele:

Mostly couples and families; the clientele has a more European/cosmopolitan feel, is very diverse and is more likely to include smokers. The Miami based MSC Divina caters to the North American market.
