The minimum Passenger age is 6 months on itineraries for roundtrip sailings for China, Japan and Singapore as well as Alaska, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, Panama Canal. The minimum passenger age is 12 months on itineraries for Asia (not including roundtrip sailings from China/Singapore/Japan), Orient & Africa, Australia & New Zealand, Hawaii, South America, South Pacific and Transatlantic & Transpacific.
The minimum age for escorted cruisetours is five.
Children under the age of 3 are welcome to visit the Youth Center, if accompanied and supervised by a parent at all times.
All vessels, with the exception of the Pacific Princess, have dedicated Youth Centers and Teen Lounges. This vessels offers youth programs when 20 or more children, ages 3-17, are traveling on a given voyage. All children participating in the Youth program must be potty-trained. Children under the age of 3 are welcome to visit the Youth Center, if accompanied and supervised by a parent at all times. Princess Cruises new Camp Discovery program for children 3 to 12 will be open fleet wide between 2017 to 2019 and will take place of Princess current children’s program, “The Fun Zone”. This new program will take advantage of Princess Cruises Discovery Channel themed programs. Kids and families can enjoy Mythbuster activities, Survive Alaska programs, Shark Attack and Just Squiddin’ Around programs.
Youth Centers, ages 3–12
“The Treehouse” or “Pelicans” (ages 3-7)
Little ones will want to stay all day while counselors entertain them with:

“The Lodge” or “Shockwaves” (ages 8-12)

Teen Lounges, ages 13–17
Remix, or The Beach House, offers teens a range of activities including teen only dance parties, sports tournaments and talent shows. Teens can also enjoy hip-hop dance classes, T-shirt painting, casino nights, mocktails, pizza parties or special teen-only dinners.
Once registered for the Program, Teens are welcome to come and go as they please. No sign in or out necessary.
Young Adults, Ages 18-20:
Princess has also incorporated Club 1820. This club for young adults from 18 to 20 can enjoy this club to meet cruisers their own age.
Please note that the Pacific Princess does not have a dedicated Youth Center.
Princess offers Late Night Group Kidsitting for children ages 3 to 12 years is offered in the Youth Centers from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am for a charge of $5.00 per hour per child, except on Pacific Princess. Kids can relax and watch movies or play games with their friends while mom and dad have a relaxing night out.
