Barbara Ramsay Orr’s Bio

Barbara Ramsay Orr fell in love with cruising on her very first sailing, on the Queen Elizabeth 2 in 1987. She has sailed on several Cunard Queens since, has experienced the thrill of small ships, river boats and intimate barges and explored the many attractions of the other large ladies of the seas. It has remained her favorite way to see the world.

Barbara is the President of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW), and has been widely published in Canada and the U.S. She’s the Insider Guide to Niagara, Puerto Vallarta and Barbados for Bindu Trips, and is the author of Frommer’s Guide to Niagara, edition 3 and 4, and Globe Pequot’s Day Trips from Toronto. She lives in the Niagara Peninsula in Canada.

    • Dear Kevin,
Are you still alive and in the cruise review business? Would love to hear from you and find out how you are doing. May be re-experiencing that Alaska cruise next year, but it won’t be the same without you and the Trivia challenge!
