MIAMI BEACH, Fla._The motto for Atlas Ocean Voyages is “All Inclusive, All the Way.” Now the cruise line that specializes in “luxe adventure” has enhanced that even more.
At the 35th edition of Seatrade, Atlas President Alberto Aliberti announced their new “Atlas Assurance” program, which protects guests with medical, travel and legal coverage, in addition to emergency medical evacuation insurance. It is complimentary with the cruise fare.
“We are delivering greater peace-of-mind to our guests with the new Atlas Assurance program,” said Aliberti in a press release. “While emergencies rarely occur, it’s comforting to know that our guests are protected with Atlas Assurance if something unexpected should happen and they need help.”
Atlas was initially announced at Seatrade two years ago, and their first ship, World Navigator, made its debut in August. A new entry in the small ship, luxury expedition market, Navigator accommodates 196 passengers and is outfitted to explore the polar regions.
At his press conference here, Aliberti told media Navigator has been well received by its guests. “The ship is full and things are going well,” he said, adding guests love “the retro chic look.”
Earlier, Atlas announced a private jet charter service for their Antarctica voyages. Guests enjoy complimentary air service from 16 major U.S. and Canadian gateways to Orlando, where they board the charter to Ushuaia, Argentina and World Navigator.
Atlas has plans for four additional ships: World Traveller and World Seeker in 2022; World Adventurer and World Discoverer in 2023.
