Very deep discounts offered on the small ships Orion and Orion II

AdventureSmith Explorations announces what Todd Smith, founder and director, calls “unprecedented, very deep discounts” on a selection of September through December 2011 Expedition Cruises around Asia and Australia aboard the Orion and Orion II.

On a double booking, couples receive 25 percent off per person or, if traveling solo, the single supplement is waived.

“Savings are substantial on cruises that cost $3,150 and up,” Smith said, noting that although custom made for small ship expedition cruising, Orion, “more like a mega-yacht, is the epitome of 5-star elegance. No expense has been spared when it comes to the quality of fittings and furnishings, and the range and caliber of on board recreational facilities are nothing short of top shelf.” The ship carries 50 couples in 50 suites who are attended by a crew of 75.
