AllThingsCruise, which launched in September 2009, is an independent travel enthusiast Web site dedicated to the joy of cruise travel and planning the best cruise ever.
AllThingsCruisewas developed by Heidi Allison-Shane and Bob Levinstein, the founders of CruiseCompete, the popular cruise travel Web site that helps travelers find the best deals on cruise vacations. Since 2003, over 700 travel agencies and 2700 cruise experts have provided 9 million quotes in response to more than 2 million consumer quote requests. The idea to launch AllThingsCruise came from the hundreds of thousands of visitors to CruiseCompete.com. We fielded an overwhelming amount of research questions and constantly seeking answers to questions like: ”How do I find the right cruise, the right ship, destination? Which is the right and best shore excursion? Will my cell phone work on board? What I will wear?”, plus cruising questions in general- and thought it was time to develop a cruise portal to address the questions posted by the consumer.
Since then, AllThingsCruise has become one of the most credible sources for information on cruise travel for both new and seasoned cruisers.
Unlike many other cruise-oriented Web sites, AllThingsCruise is not sponsored by any specific travel agency or cruise line. Its independent status provides visitors with objective, unbiased insights on various aspects of cruise travel.
A unique feature of AllThingsCruise is the complimentary e-card service for travelers to e-mail vital cruise line and ship contact information to family members and others prior to departure.
