New Line Alaskan Dream Cruises Will Operate Two Cruise West Vessels

Cruise West’s ships are returning to service in Alaska!  Although Cruise West closed it’s doors in September, it’s ships will continue to sail, thanks to the line Alaskan Dream Cruises!

Alaskan Dream Cruises, a new cruise line being launched by Sitka, Alaska-based Allen Marine Tours, has announced that it will be offering seven-night trips out of Sitka.  Its inaugural cruise season will begin May 14, 2011; tour itineraries will operate once weekly departing and arriving Sitka, Alaska on Saturdays through September 3, 2011.

The new line will operate Cruise West’s 78-passenger ships, the Spirit of Columbia and Spirit of Alaska.  They will also operate a 49-passenger catamaran called the Alaska Dream, and itineraries will include Alaska landmarks as Tracy Arm and Glacier Bay National Park.
