The M/V Louis Cristal docked yesterday morning in Havana, capping off the last sailing of Cuba Cruise’s 2013/2014 maiden season. For the past 15 weeks, Cuba Cruise has delighted and surprised international travelers with the wonder and beauty of the Caribbean’s most eclectic island. As the inaugural season comes to a close, the Canadian company enthusiastically prepares for its second run, from December 22nd, 2014 to March 30th, 2015.

“What an incredible year! We couldn’t be happier with our premier season in Cuba,” says Dugald Wells, Cuba Cruise President, who joined fellow passengers aboard this season’s final cruise. “The response is enormously positive and our team is excited to open the phones this month and share Cuba’s majestic scenes and culture with new and second-time travelers in 2014/2015.”

Onboard and back home, veteran cruisers, vacationing families, snowbirds, sun seeking honeymooners and party-going friends weren’t shy to speak up about their enjoyable week-long escape to the white-sand beaches of Punta Frances and Montego Bay, charming Cuban countryside and the island’s fabled colonial towns.

Positive reviews and testimonials have lit up international travel websites and blogs, such as Cruise Report, Cruise Critic, and TripAdvisor, and across social media channels, like Facebook and Twitter.

What passengers are saying:

“The ship, the staff, the food, the service… undoubtedly second to none!” Jan M., Didsbury, Alberta.

“To see these amazing, historical sites from the deck of a modernly equipped and outfitted ship was an unbeatable way to go. This cruise offered a truly inspiring discovery, every day.” Aaron A., Port Coquitlam, Canada, from TripAdvisor.

“The cruise was well organized from embarkation to disembarkation. The excursions offered are interesting and given by competent guides that know their area and history inside and out.” Nadmak, from Cruise Critic.

“The cruise itself was top notch, the staff were nothing less than superb, sourced from all over the world and all seemingly dedicated to making our stay as memorable as possible.” Michael R., Camberley, UK, from TripAdvisor.

Cuba Cruise also launched two testimonial videos, which are now available to view on YouTube: Cuba Cruise, What Passengers Have to Say and more recently, Cuba Cruise: Fabulous Food.

Cuba Cruise’s 7-night circumnavigation sailings offer families, friends and couples the chance to explore the revolutionary country’s top tourist attractions and off-the-beaten path highlights from the comfort and ease of a modern vessel, the M/V Louis Cristal.
