Cuba Cruise has pulled out all the stops this season, inviting world-class entertainers from Montreal’s Cirque Fantastic Concept, founded by Cirque du Soleil performer Marie-Josée Lévesque, to share their talents aboard the 7-night sailing. Aerialists, acrobats, illusionists and jugglers from the Quebec troupe join eclectic Cuban performers to present a fun-filled Canadian and Cuban fusion of music, dance, energy, rhythm, comedy, humour and circus arts, guaranteed to wow audiences aboard the exclusive cruise.
Throughout the relaxing journey, guests will be treated to a variety of onboard entertainment that goes above and beyond your average cruise program. Showcases of Latin dance and music, cabaret, flamenco, comedy and circus acts entertain guests around every corner of the ship. Around the Caribbean island, legendary Cuban performers handpicked by Enrique Nunez, esteemed director of the National Theatre of Cuba, are invited aboard, adding novel flair to each evening’s entertainment program, including an enchanting performance by the Ballet Folklorico de Oriente in Santiago de Cuba.
“It’s been an honour working with Montreal’s Cirque Fantastic and Cuba’s talented performers to develop the entertainment program,” says Dugald Wells, Cuba Cruise President. “Guests will be amazed by the talent we have onboard. There’s nothing quite like it.” For aspiring jugglers and future ballroom stars, circus workshops and dance classes are also available throughout the day or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the onboard performances.
Guests can join the 7-night cruise at either Havana or Montego Bay with a lead-in price of only $586 CAD. Each cruise includes the opportunity to visit world famous beaches, UNESCO world heritage sites and national reserves, as well as in-depth exploration of Cuba’s culture.
