Imagine this: You’ve spent the day exploring absolutely every aspect of your very large cruise ship- or taken an amazing but exhausting shore excursion- and now everyone is wiped out, and inelegantly flopped on their respective stateroom beds. At this moment, how popular is the idea of getting cleaned up, dressed for dinner, and trekking down to one of the many (fabulous) restaurants?
In my experience… maybe not so popular. How great would it be, then, to instead have the option of changing into your comfies, turning on a movie, and ordering a pizza right to your cabin?
Norwegian Cruise Line gets it; the line has announced it will now offer its popular Pizza 24/7 delivery service, now available only on Norwegian Epic, throughout its entire fleet. Pizza 24/7 will begin on NCL’s eight ships departing from U.S. ports throughout July and then in Europe to Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Sun in August.
This 16-inch handmade, stone baked pizzas will be delivered to almost anywhere on the ship (including staterooms) at a cost of $5 each, and are available with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce; pepperoni; or vegetarian with roasted peppers, mushrooms, red onions and mozzarella cheese.
Norwegian is also offering its room service menu across the fleet with breakfast items, soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and kid’s menu items. (Room service is complimentary throughout the day except from midnight to 5 a.m. when an overnight surcharge of $3.95 is charged, but guests who order only beverages or pizza delivery will not be charged this fee.)
Pizza delivery: it’s a busy family’s saving grace every now and again…
