Cunard Line has been recognized as a “Top Midsized-Ship Cruise Line” by a record number of readers of Condé Nast Traveler who participated in the global travel magazine’s 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards. Named among the top nine cruise lines awarded in this category, Cunard is firmly established as a company of choice for the most discerning travelers who have sailed aboard Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, as well as flagship Queen Mary 2.
“It is indeed a high compliment for Cunard to have been recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler as one of the best of the best in our category,” said David Dingle, chief executive officer for Cunard Line. “The recognition is a testament to our fleet-wide commitment to superior White Star Service and to our continued aspiration to provide unique and enriching on board experiences.”
The 26th annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards rank the best cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, hotels and resorts in the world. This year, the magazine had a record-breaking 79,268 readers participate in the survey, close to double the number of survey takers in 2012. These dedicated and discerning travelers cast 1.3 million votes for more than 16,000 properties around the world.
