Book early and save as much as 50 percent off MSC Cruises’ repositioning voyages

Guests who take advantage of early booking rates on MSC Cruises’ winter 2011-2012 repositioning cruises can save as much as 50 percent off the cost of their memorable voyage.

As ships reposition for the upcoming season, they undertake longer journeys and call at ports not regularly visited. The added days at sea enable guests to relax and make full use of the ship’s amenities in an atmosphere reminiscent of ocean crossings of the past.

MSC Poesia, for example, returns to North American waters in the fall with an 18-night sailing from Kiel, Germany that departs Sept. 10, 2011 (17 nights from Copenhagen, Denmark departing Sept. 11, 2011) for New York, New York. Early booking rates start at $1,049 from Kiel and $999 from Copenhagen – 50 percent off standard rates.

Other MSC Cruises’ winter 2011-2012 repositioning cruises and their starting early booking rates include:

MSC Orchestra: Nov. 18, 2011 17-night sailing from Genoa, Italy to Santos, Brazil, $1,159; March 20, 2011 18 nights from Santos to Livorno, Italy, $1,349.

MSC Opera: Nov. 10, 2011 20 nights from Venice, Italy to Buenos Aires, Argentina, $1,349; April 14, 2012 19 nights from Buenos Aires to Southampton, United Kingdom, $1,499.

MSC Musica: Dec. 1, 2011 17 nights from Venice to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, $1,129; March 17, 2012 18 nights from Rio de Janeiro to Venice, $1,299.

On each repositioning cruise, guests will enjoy that elegant décor, the luxurious MSC Aurea Spa, outstanding entertainment, international cuisine and superb Italian hospitality that are the hallmarks of MSC Cruises.

Rates quoted are cruise-only, per person, double occupancy. Government fees and taxes are additional.
