Hi Jennifer, I’m so excited for you and your husband, it’s an amazing trip and one you’ll never forget! I wish I had better news on the price, however just know it’s worth every penny. We stayed for 12 days and upgraded our room as we island hopped, there are plenty of ways to keep costs down by resort choice and room choice. I would aim to save for around $10,000, but you can go above or below that number and have a lovely vacation either way! My husband & I are saving to take your trip to French Polynesia for our 15th anniversary – can you give me a ballpark of what we will need saved to have a wonderful trip? We want to enjoy ourselves on a once-in-a-lifetime trip :) Do you do vacation planning or can you recommend someone that will be familiar with reservations for this location?

Congrats Derrick on your upcoming wedding! We saw the movie as well and it drove us crazy remembering all of the beautiful scenery and amazing memories.
Unfortunately the French Polynesian Islands are VERY expensive, but there are a few ways to keep your budget down. You might want to look into going on a cruise there, it might help having all of your meals included. Try getting a few quotes from http://www.CruiseCompete.com for a Regents Cruise. My girlfriend and I recently saw this movie and fell in love with the scenery! Im planning to propose and would love to celebrate our honeymoon there. I too would like to enjoy this resort and all its splendor at a modest rate. Any pointers or ideas?

Sounds like paradise ! How much does such luixury cost? Can it be done on a more modest budget and stiill be so great? Best wishes to the happy couple– may you have many happy years together.
